Use ';Wet-n-Wild';, sold at Walmart, Kmart and most pharmacys's like CVS, and Walgreens. It's the least expensive line of makeup, and has some really cute stuff for girls your age. Most products are in the $1-$4 range. You can babysit, clean house, rake leaves to earn the money for the makeup. Just go light with it, your still a little young, perhaps some lip gloss, and a little blush to start. Ask your mom first, if she agrees, you just may get makeup in your stocking this year ! If you cant buy the stuff right now, ask your mom if she has some stuff she does not like, use, or has extra she can give you as a starter. Do NOT use your friends stuff, using somebody else's eye makeup can get you an eye infection, and of course you dont want to use somebody's lipstick for obvious reasons. Welcome to Womanhood ! If your just looking for cover-up, remember to use a tone thats closest to your natural skin tone, apply with a sponge, NOT your fingers, thats what makes cover up look fake, blend into your jawline, not just your face so you dont get that Ring around your chin. Now, thew dollar store has cheap make-up for sure, but the quality is JUNK, so watch what you buy there. For instance, they have some cute looking eyeshadow, but the quality is cheap, its mostly TALC, and that wears off in an hour. If you do buy dollar store makeup, make sure it is a name brand like Revlon, Coty, or Cover Girl. The off brand stuff is nasty, hence they sell it at the dollar store cause nobody else wanted it, the name brand stuff you may find is because perhaps a store had too much to sell, so its ok to get that stuff.
A girl your age doesn't need much, especially not foundation.





Try some brown eyeliner/mascara and some tinted lip-balm.

How much do you want to wear? I would maybe start at the dollar store if you have one. If you wear mascara and lip gloss I think it looks like you are wearing make up but you don't look trashy. And remember you are 12 let your natural beauty shine through

Almay has a pretty good makeup line. You can find it at any store such as Target, CVS, Wallgreens. It's very nice and affordable. Sometimes you can get a buy one get one free deal. I wouldn't go for Wet and Wild or NYC. That makeup is cheap and will make your face break out.

I had to do the same thing for a school production. I just went to a Pharmacy store like Eckerds, Rite Aid, CVS, or Walgreens. I found what I needed.
I really dont think you need makeup if your 12.


But if you really want to, try a clear lipgloss, and a tan light LIGHT brown eye shadow.

well, i am 13 and what i use and think is genius is loreal liquid make-up. it makes your skin look flawless! your skin looks smooth and even. trust me on this. and also try covergirl powder make-up. this dosn't work as good but it is cheaper. good luck!

Firstly, if you're only twelve, you don't need make-up. Your natural look will look faded by the time your 20 or so. Better to start later and preserve your natural beauty. But if you really need it, just put some mascara on your top eyelashes, not your bottom, a very light eyeshadow and a non shiny lip gloss. Also, if you REALLY need it, put a eyeliner on the inside on your bottom eye. But don't over-do it. And don't use complexion. It ruins your skin.
