I really am not pretty. I never was. It's not low confidence, I have high confidence...I'm happy with the person I am but it's just reality that I'm not pretty without make up.
I HATE wearing heavy make up because it smears towards the end of the school day but I can't wear natural make up because I'm not naturally pretty.
Like I said, I'm not just saying I'm not pretty because I'm not happy with myself, I'm happy with myself and I like myself I just need a way to do my make up.
Any help? How can I be pretty with natural make up?
I'm glad you can have such high-confidence in yourself and your appearance...while still being realistic and taking an active approach to wishing to enhance it.
With that said, I think Bare Minerals by Bare Escentuals would be best. They are all-natural and mineral-based, but their products are truly exceptional and outstanding for being so simple. Really, they seem to highlight a person's features and skin, while only hiding any imperfections - not just the whole face in an obviously unppealing mask. Best of all, they have a wide range of products that you could experiment with to determine which colors best suit you, and quality brushes and tools to help get the job done easily to really help you look your best.
You'll spend 10 minutes applying your makeup, yet others (if they can even tell you're actually wearing any..) will think you spent a TON more time to achieve such a flawless look. Anyone looks amazing in Bare Minerals. It's honestly effortless...
I'd give it a go and then see what you think about your looks. The chances may be high that having the right kind of makeup could really make all the different and actually change your own opinion!!
Good luck! How can I be pretty with natural make up?
At one point I got tired of putting on a lot of makeup too so one day I decided to do a makeup look that looked more natural and made me still look pretty. So what I came up with was contouring my face to give it some shape. Then wearing bronzer which gave me a natural glow. Some blush that was close to my natural blush color. black eyeliner on water line. And some close to natural looking false eyelashes. I know the eyelashes may throw you off but its works girl trust me if you get the natural looking ones. If not then just black mascara. If you want some eyeshadow then use a coppery gold one. Top it off with a golden lip gloss and your done. I went to school with this look it was natural looking and I got great compliments from people better than when I had on more makeup.
SAME problem!!
I just started wearing tinted moisturizer, light brown eyeliner, and brown mascara.
