What are some nice, natural brands of make up for my eight year old daughter to wear?

i want her to have something natural looking...nothing that looks inexpensive or pasty.

this would be day wear make up, for school and church...and of course mall shopping trips...lol!

any ideas on what brands are the best? nothing cheap please!!lol! What are some nice, natural brands of make up for my eight year old daughter to wear?
Well , since you are 'the bestest mommy in the world' ' nothing could be bestest for your eight-year-old than some makeup recommendations. We went out to the streets to interview the most popular hookers and other streetwalkers about the types of make up they apply to keep them looking their best while on the look-out .

Seven out of 10 prostitutes interviewed recommended Lorelle . These ladies however made the most money while 2 recommended Almay for the best coverage for the price. The other hussie was unavailable for comment.

The nights top streetwalker , Lavender Sky, stated that ';the best look comes from apply several base coats'; and ';a heavy line of eye liner to enunciate those seductive bedroom eyes';.

She also suggests the right color of blush to match the lips and shouldn't ever clash or contrast .

';Bright reds are exuberantly sexy and exciting';! she said, adding that any eight year old girl is sure to look like she's ready for her high school prom date. What are some nice, natural brands of make up for my eight year old daughter to wear?
She's eight?

Eight year olds shouldn't wear makeup.
Personally i think the Body shop is lovely, it does all the natural shades, can be a tad pricey but not too bad :)
I think you should call CPS they will be glad to give you some tips on what makeup your 8 YEAR old should be wearing.

Are you nuts?!? She is a child why are you trying to doll her up, her natural beauty should be enough.
None, because 8 year olds should not wear make-up they should be busy playing with baby dolls instead of putting on make-up...
DONT DO IT
Take a light shimmery tan or pale pink shadow and apply with a light hand from lash line to crease.

Apply clear gloss on the lips.

For both of these, I recommend mark. makeup (www.meetmark.com)

And she's good.

You might want to help her with a little bit of brown mascara for church (but I wouldn't recommend it for school)... just as a bit more of fun.

As she gets older, you might allow her to add some more colours, like a tinted gloss, or blue and green eyeshadow, or something, but always apply with a light hand. Start small, work your way up.
Does your daughter have a severe skin condition? 8 year olds don't wear makeup. If she has a skin problem, then perhaps Dermablend would be appropriate for her. It was formulated for people with skin conditions.
any type of sheer lipgloss anything more is wayyy too much for an 8 year old may i suggest a good brand for those her age? http://www.smackers.com/
are you one of those pushy parents that tries to make their child into everything your not?? Ur child is 8, whats wrong with you?? Wearing makeup is bad for your skin generally, there are no benefits in it whatsoever. I wasnt allowed to wear make up till i was 14, but you're going to be causing your kid skin damage from the age of 8. Appauling.
Okay, a few pointers . . . .

One: Why do you want your EIGHT year old daughter to wear make-up. By the sounds of it she hasn't even suggested it, you have!

Two: Why not cheap? No offence, but it sounds like your spoiling your daughter.

Three: By the time she is 13 her skin will be like sandpaper and she will look silly. I don't think ANY mother would want that for their daughter.

Four: If an eight year old is wearing make-up she is BOUND to look unnatural.

I'm sorry babe, but please don't listen to any of the people suggesting make-up, let your daughter be young. You don't want her worrying about her looks at that age. Wait till she's 12, then see. xx
She is NOT supposed to wear make up when she's eight!! What are you thinking with?!
Well, it really is destination appropriate. While what may be perfect for school, may be a bit much for church.

May I offer a few suggestions as I have a 5 year old that I'm taking care of now so I know from whence I speak.

For school, I lean towards the reds for the hands and black with silver glitter and false eyelashes to give the eyes a true exotic appeal. Don't forget to tie the ensamble togeather with a very short skit and grey pantyhose. Thong optional.

For church, I like the goth look. A lot of black eyeliner and perhaps some gold nose and eyebrow rings. A simple white A-Line dress is just the thing to give her that sophistated virginal look.

For the mall...well..there are many options there. A tight little tank top (to show her budding womanhood) and bikini shorts.

My little daring goes out quite often and, suprisingly, comes back with about $500.00 at the end of the day!
why would you let her wear make-up at that age??that's ridiculous!!!!
She is 8...too young for makeup!! And people wonder why girls grow up so fast today.
Why not leave her natural since she's only.. ya know EIGHT YEARS OLD.

Why try and make her grow up too fast?

Little kids with make up on look disgusting.
eight year olds dont wear or need makeup.

stop trying to make your kid grow up too fast.
she is 8 what is she wearing makeup for????!!!!!!!!!! i didn't start wearing makeup till i was like 13....give her a few years then ask away...lol....but ill still answer your queastion cause i know your not goin to listen to me.....but go to like cvs...reall good make up ...realll cheap...
none..she is way to young to wear make-up... my oldest daughter is 13 and we only allow her to wear a little eyeliner and mascara.
My 3 year old wears the same stuff I wear. (It helps her from stealing mine.) So I just buy 2 of everything. I use allot of Cover Girl and other wal mart stuff.
she's too young for makeup
i like neutrogena because it is healthy for your skin.
why would you want your 8 yr old daughter to wear makeup?!?

let her be a kid!

:)
If she has to wear make-up at that age start with a powder. Bare Minerals is great but does she really need coverage? You can always use a translucent powder that will even tone and color and give her a nice matte finish. Bare Minerals Mineral Veil is great and so is Clarins Shine stopper. Clinique also started making a mineral based foundation that is great. They are corn starch based so they will not over dry the skin or clog pores. They range in price from $19 to $30. What ever you do make sure it has no talc in it and that you or someone shows her the proper way to apply. So she doesn't look like a 20 year old. She still needs to be a kid.
Honestly, I wouldnt let your eight year old daughter wear makeup just yet. I wasn't allowed until eleven, so I would definitly wait. Sure a little lipgloss here and there but you don't want to ruin her younger looking skin. I hope my comment helped. :P
eyeslipsface.com is high quality they sell it at nordstroms. They are having a $1 sale do to repackaging for a new look. I would not spend more on an eight yr old and it its great nutral makeup. Bet of all its not tested on animals!
As a personal preference I wouldn't let my eight year old wear make up on a regular basis (school, church etc.), maybe just on special occasions (weddings, Christmas concert). But, she is your daughter and I'm sure that you know what's best for her, you are her mommy after all!

I really like Physians Formula. It's available in most places (I get at Wal-Mart). It's not AS pricey but it's still wonderful. I used to order Bare Essentials, and found that I loved Physians Formula just as much (if not more) and it's more convienent to find.

Good luck.
r u serious, 8?
You are kidding right?
Neutrogena has only natural shades and it's made out of minerals.

I think a little eyeshadow, blush, and lip gloss is harmless. Anything more is a little too much for an 8 year old.

=]
bare minerals.

origins.

clinique *really good*

-you can also go to Sephora and talk to someone that works there they're always a lot of help-
