What are penguins natural oils made up of?

I am doing a science project experimenting on different ways I can help penguins who are affected by oil spills and i wondering what the natural oils for penguins were made up of?What are penguins natural oils made up of?
I can tell you that the penguin produces what is termed natural oil. The oil spills are actually mineral oils.

Hope that will help just a little.

Make-up natural look?

im 14 and i want to wear make-up but i cant afford fancy make-up and im just after a natural look any way. any suggestions on where and how much, etc?Make-up natural look?
i know what you mean and when girls wear loads of makeup you'll notice that the guys always say ';yeah she's cool but she wears to much makeup';, or when they're trying to describe the certain girl they'll say ';The one that wears loads of makeup.';

what i do is use a powder concelear in a shade lighter than my skin shade,a really thin sheet and a light pink blush, and if im not in the mood to deal with eyeshadow or eyeliner, i just get as close to my roots as i can when im putting on mascara, cause it looks like a really thin line of eyeliner, and use the same face powder or blush on my eyes to give it a semi-eyeshadow look. And a pink gloss.Make-up natural look?
You may have seen on tv an advert for the new Maxfactor foundation.

It contains minerals so its good for your skin, and is supposed to

give you that 'natural' look, its a powder aswell so not as gloopy as

a liquid foundation. =)

Hope that helps,

if i wanted the natural look i'd probably get that one. (:

  • Whats a good make up to wear that lookd natural and lasts all day for skin that goes patcy when wearing makeup?

i work as cabin crew and my make up never seems to lood good on a flight at the end of the day its all patchy and looks amess its really imbarising and good mke up that lasts or any tips?

thanks :)Whats a good make up to wear that lookd natural and lasts all day for skin that goes patcy when wearing makeup?
to begin with your make up probably looks good. i have the same problem, mostly on my nose, and sometimes my chin and cheeks. its horrible, i know. ive realised why it happens to ME, because i sometimes pick at my skin or scratch it. dont do this, it breaks the skin and makes it dry so the make up stays on one bit but not the other which makes it look patchy.

if you do, stop picking any spots or anything, and moisturize every night before bed. before doing your make up, moisturize, and let it soak in a bit before applying your make up. dont apply much concealer, thiss is the thing that normally goes patchy. if you HAVE gone patchy, dont try and blend it in, this just makes it looks worse. if you can, start again, but i doubt youll have the time especially if your working, so just apply more.

i use loreal true match foundation, and a loreal concealer. i find these really good. when i look a bit patchy or i want to freshen up, i use yves saint laurent touche eclat, this really good, and if you apply a bit over the problem area where your make up has gone wrong, it often sorts it out completely and at least makes it look better. then i apply a light bit of powder on my chin nose and forehead to keep shine away. good luck!Whats a good make up to wear that lookd natural and lasts all day for skin that goes patcy when wearing makeup?
well first of i start with L'Oreal true match as a base.its really good and it covers up any dark spots or imperfections you have on your face or think you have.then i use cover girl trublend power makeup.use a large soft brush and work the powder into your face and it blends great with the true match.for eye showers i use l'oreal's four in one make up.i don't really remember the name of it but just go to a local Walgreens or walmart and look around.i hope this helps
ok listen up u gotta try LAURA MERCIER makeup!!! It's expensive but worth every penny!!! If u want that natural dewy look then u gotta try it!! I looooove it!! They have a good deal at www.sephora.com or at the store it's $60 and u get everything u need for the face check it out and the makeup is sold online or like Macys
I use Clinquie Super-Fit foundation and then i put bare minerals on top of it.

Even after a long day (10 hrs.+)it always stays on.

    And never looks patchy.

Why do men say they like women looking natural & wear no make up but///?

They are attracted to hollywood stars and models etc etc who junk on half a ton of makeup? I don't get it you tell us you prefer natural but you like all the stars who wear loads of make up??????????Why do men say they like women looking natural %26amp; wear no make up but///?
i was thinking this too , but like wtf maybe its just cus there mad you look good with it on and know they cant have you, or dont want anyone else to if they already do have you.. its just a jealousy thing. the famous chicks with makeup will always be there tio fanitize about and noone can take them away.. but people can take you away. Why do men say they like women looking natural %26amp; wear no make up but///?
Sometimes you're dealing with a jealous freak who knows you look great with makeup and does not want you to attract any other guy or for you to look better than what you already look, sometimes even so you don't look better than he does. Most of the time it's because they don't know that celebrities take hours to get the ';natural look';.... they are fooled fools lol!!!
Now THIS is humorous. As a guy, I truly AM the sort of prospective husband who favors the au naturel approach from his lady; the only makeup I might insist upon would be some shade of nail paint a few shades darker than her skin tone--easier to tell whose fingers are whose that way, especially if she's comparably rough on her hands to myself. Overdone faces are almost certainly a carryover from the theatre, where the lighting causes a wash-out effect.

Part of this taste may be personal experience--back in high school, a makeup artist did a concealer job on me for a class photo shoot and I ended up with a worse breakout than would otherwise have been the case.
Becuase the girls in hollywood have large boobs what more could make them look sexy beside thier midriff showing all over
Maybe it is because they realise that these women are out of their reach and therefore they can look and admire all they like. When it comes to their own partner, girlfriend, wife, well they don't want any other guy drooling over them,so they are more satisfied with the natural look.
The fantasty vs. reality point that someone already mentioned could certainly be a possibility.

However, I think part of it (at least for some guys) is also that guys' and girls' definitions of ';natural'; can vary. I was recently discussing this on another forum, and several women said that when they were first married/dating, their husbands/bfs said they liked girls with ';natural'; makeup. But later, they started discussing it in more depth, and the guys said that by ';natural'; they just meant no cakey, orange, or otherwise fake-looking foundation -- the guys actually LIKED things like colored eyeshadow, lipstick, etc.! Meanwhile, the wives/gfs all thought that when the guys said ';natural';, they meant no colored makeup, only neutral colors like beige eyeshadow, etc.!

I know my husband loves it when I wear brightly-colored eyeshadow (especially teal/blue-green) or red lipstick, even though he is normally pretty conservative about style!
What most people are attracted to is the natural look. Makeup is meant to make you look beautiful by highlighting and accenting what you've already got.

A good makeup job looks like you aren't wearing any..and you look beautiful..

things like perfectly matched foundation, well-blended blush..its all part of it. Pretty people don't ever really LOOK like they're wearing makeup, but we know that they are.
Men can be just as difficult as women!
whoa that really got me thinking..seriously never thaught of that and i agree like wtf!!??
    Make-up is for enhancement.
its the hipocritical pert of life... plus they are famous... y dont u want to get wit hsomeone famous to become famous by accosiation.... srry but reality aint pretty no matter how much makeup u wear=]
    They like to lie.
    Because that's the mens type.
men like the natural look because they like young women and make up makes u look older!!!!!!!!
One is real, and the other is a fantasy girl. As a former model, cameras and bright light tend to make you look washed out. You have to over do the make up to try and look dramatic. In a real situation, I would never wear the same amount of makeup. I would look painted. You can look beautiful by just accentuating your lovely features with light amounts of makeup.

Natural looking make up for asians?

    - I have kinda pale skin

    - If you want to know what ethnicity i am (to get the makeup more ';better looking';? haha), i'm korean

And I want the makeup to look really natural cuz i go to school but i also want people to know that i'm wearing makeup, you know??

please%26amp;%26amp;thank you!Natural looking make up for asians?
that can help you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izbL-xpHu鈥?/a>Natural looking make up for asians?
HEYY, i just started getting my friend to wear makeup, or helped her and shes korean too,

    but i'm Vietnamese.

um best thing is just a light brown eyeshadow and mascara, and curl your eyelashes,

try not to clump the mascara, get it natural looking,

i think eyelashes make anyone look gorgeous, thats my favorite feature or what makes a girl look pretty. and especially since asians have short straight eyelashes that you can't even tell.
    - Use a tinted moisturiser or foundation. I prefer the first one because you don't feel it at all.

    - Line your waterline lightly with eyeliner and just go for curler + mascara on the top. Choose dark brown over black because it looks more natural. I recommend Revlon Colorstay pencil eyeliner and Covergirl Lash Blast if you have long thin eyelashes, Maybelline Lash Stiletto if you have short thick lashes.

    - You can alternatively line your waterline and inner corner with a white liner (Rimmel has a good one).

    - Use a matte coloured lip balm or lip gloss.

Ways for make-up to look natural?

I want to wear minimal make-up. I don't wear that much now, but I want to start wearing less. Any tips to make eyes pop without wearing too much make-up? I want to look healthy and natural.Ways for make-up to look natural?
use brown eyeliner instead of black. no foundation. use lip gloss, not lip stick. stick to natural colors. no blush, just pinch your cheeks.Ways for make-up to look natural?
First start off with a clean and moisturized face. Then apply a tinted moisturizer because it gices you a bit of coverage which is good so it looks more natural then foundation. Then set it with translucent powder or you can use pressed powder if your skin is oily. Next apply a light amount of peachy pink blush to give you a healthy glow. To make your eye look more awake and to make them pop you should first apply concealer lighter than your skin tone and blend very well. Next put a white e/s on the inner corner and then apply black eyeliner and smudge it a bit. Then apply a black mascara. Finish the look off with a sheer colour lipgloss of your choice. Hope that helps! :)
-Instead of wearing bright eyeshadow (such as a sky blue or lime green) wear pale colors or browns and neutrals.

-Instead of cakey foundations, purchase a compact in your skin tone instead of a bronzer.

-Regular Chapstick will add a small hint of shine and will allow you to show your natural color.

-Forget the fake looking blush and show off your natural color!

-Go easy on the mascara-just a touch and not multiple coats.

-Forget the eyeliner, but if you must, then go for a brown color.

-If you don't want any makeup on your eyes, you could try to curl your eyelashes. I've heard mixed results on eyelash curlers.

    I hope that I helped :)
hmm you dont always have to use eyeliner to make your eyes pop out. Use mascara ..def...upper and lower not too much on the lower...if you have green or blue eyes try using nude tones browns coppers maybe with a lil gold..dont go for super matte try to have some shear to them get a super nude eyeliner almost the color of your skin and run it along ur bottom lash. You could also try putting a lil shimmer eyeshadow lighter then the one you applied on ur lids ..apply it to the inner corner of your eyes. If you do want to use eyeliner go for natural colors and instead of applying it allover your eye..or along the whole upper lid ( makes eyes look smaller) apply it dead center in the middle of your upper lid and a lil on the sides just to even it out..makes your eyes look bigger and pop out..without going over board on the make up.
heres what i would suggest to make them look AMAZING but not caked with makeup and slutty

silver eyeshadow (on eyelids kinda high and a little under your eyes too)

    thicker mascara

some eyeliner really really close to the edge of your lid and not like a perfect line, a tiny bit smuged

also eyeliner on the roots or your bottom lashes

white eyeliner- put it on it the inside corner or your eyes to really make them pop and stand out and shine
    use a primer

nars makes a really good one

estee lauder has an amazing foundation called double wear

it keeps your skins shine without making it look oily

and will stay one for a really long time

and brown eye liner is really good

    use an eye lash comb

it makes your lashes look naturally long

and a cream blush is better than a powder

    =D

    hope this helps
one of the biggest tips I can give you is go apply a sunless-tanning skin lotion to your face everyday. this will help even out your general skin tone and reduce the need for make up. the only eye make up I wear is black eye-liner and it really makes my eyes ';pop out'; without giving that really dolled up look. hope this helps!
It's kind of expensive but I really Like Bare Minerals, You can find it at Ulta Cosmetics.
for natural make up, i suggest just powder foundation and mascara and vaseline on the lips.
wear light colors, like... brown, or your skin color. Buy BonneBell. The Pixie Dust.

What make up stays looking good but natural all day?

I am 52 but hope i look younger. I've never really worn makeup apart from mascara and lipstick but now I think I need it! I want it to look fresh and natural... any recomendations and tips on applying? What make up stays looking good but natural all day?
nothing actually,,,,,,check in superdrugWhat make up stays looking good but natural all day?
You will find loads of info and ideas here, good luck!
    christian dior
Mac because you can make Mac makeup natural, they do have natural colors and they last all day.
If you're in the UK try Perscriptives (in larger boots, and most of the big dept stores).

It looks very natural as they match it exactly to your skin colour/tone. It gives really good coverage and really evens out any blotches. Both myself and my mum have used it for about 10 years and wouldn't use anything else.

It costs about 拢20 a pot which lasts for AGES. Really easy to apply too (i just use fingers).

    Have fun!
    Mac.lorial,revlon.
I think she means bare minimum. Just a guess? If you haven't needed it up till now, I bet you don't need it now. However, if it will boost your confidence, do just that and use as little as possible.
Dont dab or rub the foundation. A mousse foundation is really good, you can slide it over without causing caking and flaking.
    bare minerals
physicians formula powder foundation applied with a brush,it last all day(I wear it for 15 hours and now rubbing off or smudges)
Mineral foundation is good. It is light.

    puritycosmetics.co.uk is a good brand.
A light tinted moisturiser is what Id recommend regardless of age, it moisturies and enhances skin colour without looking like it is caked on. As you get older it is best to draw main focus to lips instead of eyes, as eyes age faster, stick to a bit of eyeliner and a coat of mascara for eyes. Invest in a nice quality lipstick that will draw positive attention to your lips and help enhance your natural features. Best bet is to go to a person at a makeup counter, i.e clinique and get them to help you find a lipstick that really suits you!
If you can get away without wearing make up, up to your age then I guess you've probably got good skin so.... In this case I would suggest firstly. A good but gentle exfoliating wash to be used once a week, this will keep your skin clean fresh and prepped for A GREAT MOISTURISER - (No 1 important thing in any females armoury.) To be used on a daily basis in the morning pre make up and evening after you wash your face. I would recommend Clinique as they are great value for money and come in a huge variety of types so you can choose exactly for you skin type %26amp; colour - I would also recommend Clinique or Estee Lauder Foundation and concealer - After you have used your moisturiser dab a tiny amount of concealer under your eyes and anywhere else you feel need a lift. you can use your fingers, and work your way to the coverage that you think is needed. Now you can apply your foundation - I prefer to do this with my fingers but you can also do it with a sponge, start of with a little - Build it up o the coverage nessecary et voila you have the most important thing in make up a good base! As far as keeping it looking fresh and youthful use some blush. I personally favour rose as it can be used quite subltely and looks very natural on most skin tones. On the apples of your cheek - use a large brush, remember to blow of the excess and use your strokes in sweeping motions upwatrds - again buid up to the coverage you want. Then add a Good coat of masscara - (If you want to keep it natural then maybe use brown instead of black), and some lipgloss and there you have it - simple but fresh youthful and most imporantly effective day make up - If you want to add a bit more colour then go for a coloured lipstick and add a little eyeshadow in gold or brown - No 7 do some really good eyeshadows that are barely there but just give you a bit of a lift.
    Mineral Make Up -

its make up without all the gunk - just minerals,

it takes a while to apply at first but gives a very natural feel and finish.

Try Lili Lolo, they allow you to purchase trial sizes so you can try them out.

Its very good, if you don't like it you can just throw them away.

    http://www.lilylolo.co.uk/home.php
I like Chanel Tient Naturel liquid makeup with SPF 8.
Use a tinted moisturiser instead of full foundation. Lighter on the skin.

  • Has bare minerals given you some breakouts?what other natural minerals make up is good n no breakouts?

Yes bare minerals practically ruined my skin!!!

I now use mary kay and my skin is back to normal thank god!!!Has bare minerals given you some breakouts?what other natural minerals make up is good n no breakouts?
I use Mary Kay and it has helped a lot. You can check it out at www.marykay.com/rebeccaHas bare minerals given you some breakouts?what other natural minerals make up is good n no breakouts?
I use Mary Kay....but i also use the cleansing set that Mary Kay has. I don't break out anymore!
I had the same problem...it's an additive in the mineral makeup. Try a more natural makeup Everyday Minerals, look at it on line. It's great, and not expensive! Good luck!
I use to use Mary Kay and switched to L'Oreal Bare Naturale powdered mineral foundation. It's cheaper and I like the coverage with out looking like it's caked on. You can still see your natural skin. I like that. It evens out the skin tone so much better. Not to mention my foundation doesn't slide off like it use to when the weather got warm. 4 months and no break outs.... It's all in the technique though - swirl, tap and apply. And goodness - you really really don't need much at all....(added bonus - it has a built in sunscreen of spf 19)
I'm an Esthetician (skin care specialist) and makeup artist. I've used many different kinds of makeup on various skin types. There is a company call Christi Mar, which has the best mineral makeup I've ever tried. Its easy to use, comes in a compact, no mess with loose powder. Its made of truly all natural ingredients, so there's nothing in it to make you break out. And it stays on, and never looks or feels heavy . You can find it at www.christimarcosmetics.com
Bare minerals is great. I used to use it all the time. However, I switched to Ulta mineral makeup just because of the cost. The Ulta mineral makeup is just as good. I love it!

nail polishes arent so good they dont stay on so well but the clear one does!! its amaziingg i love it

overall i %26lt;33 thiss brand and its so awesome cos you can afford to get everything so you have the right makeup look for every out fit !Anyone With The ';Natural , Collection '; Make Up ...?
If by the Natural collection make-up you mean the boots make then I have got to say, I really dont like the foundation :| its not only that it is far too dark even with the lightest colour its also that its worth spending a bit more on the foundation to get a good one.

For the blush, I absolutely love it for a budget one! My old blush was one by natural collection, just dont put too much on at once as it doesnt really blend that well once applied to your cheeks.

Ive never tried the mascara because I like to stick to ones ive heard stuff about. ONe of my friends had the natural collection mascara and it gave her eyelashes a very 'clean' look and it looked really natural

Im expecting you bought these three products because of the 3 for 拢5 offer? I was tempted to do the same other day :)
well, i like their make up, i have concealer, which is ace, and mascara, which is like, so-so. I think you should try number 7 mascara, dream lash or something to do with dream because its really good, as the brush is hard and makes your eyelashes longer. It may cost more, but it's worth your money, trust me :) hope you pick some good make-up.
yeah i used to buy products from the natural collection , and their products were very good if im honest , easy to use and good value for money , their colours are great !! definately try them !!

Should I use make up or not? I am 17 and emersed in the natural vs. make up debate.?

I am 17 and facing the constant issue of my 50% of my friends going ';natural'; with no make up and another 50% accenting thier good features with make up. Any opinions? Do guys like/dislike make up?Should I use make up or not? I am 17 and emersed in the natural vs. make up debate.?
My suggestion is to apply some make up, cause in my opinion, I think of make up as something that shows how much we respect/love ourself or the place that you're going to...

For eg. I would like to see my friends coming to my birthday party all dolled up, it shows that they took the time in getting all pretty just for me,therefore respect me...!

So if you're talking about going to school with make up, I would say yes.. Cause you want to look pretty for yourself right? I'm not saying to do heavy make up, maybe just fix your eyebrows, eyelashes and mascara and finally lip gloss if you want to keep it simple... But if you want something more, use a tinted sunblock or moisturizer, it doesn't give you a good coverage but it helps balance out your skin tone and at the same time protecting your skin..! Then if you're talking about going for some events or party, yes go for heavier make up... It's self-respect..!

It's easy to manage if you keep everything simple, but if you're planning on going heavier, post another question and we'll help you out..!

    Enjoy...!

P.S. 17 would be the perfect time to introduce yourself to a little make up..!Should I use make up or not? I am 17 and emersed in the natural vs. make up debate.?
Well I mean you don't HAVE to if you don't want to. It's not really a must..but I mean if you want to, or need it, or just want a flawless look, you could wear a little...like a bit of concealer or something...a little foundation? I don't know.

What guys hate about makeup is if your face looks too powdery, bronzer/blush looks obvious and fake (too bright, too dark, etc.) They hate it if you wear a lot of eyeshadow...or eyeshadow that's really bright. They don't like it if you wear so much makeup it gets on their shirt. Lol.
don't wear it. who cares what the guys like, if they donn't like you for your personality you shouldn't even consider them. don't mess up your face bcuz a guy MITE notice you
i go with natural makeup all the time, but my friends think i don't wear any which is good.
some of my friends didn't even realize that i wear make up b.c i try to keep it natural looking. just do what you're comfortable with and keep it simple. mascara eye liner and foundation are all that i use but like i said it's almost hardly noticeable.
if ur not shir about it =, try just using some of the basics, thats what i do. Like if u have great eyes try using liner %26amp; mascara, plump lips try a coral gloss, and goo dcheek bones try a bronzer, experiment with it. thats how most people decide what they like
I don't see any problem with wearing makeup at that age, as long as it's not over the top. I don't think most guys care, or they prefer the ';natural makeup'; look. If you think make up would help you look better, use it. It really only matters how you feel about it.
How about you stop trying to fit in with your friends and set your own example and do what you want to do! Don't be a follower, be a leader. Guys prefer natural, but your decision shouldn't be based on them either.
I think for your age a little make up every once in a while is just fine. All I ever wear is eye liner, shadow and a little mascara. Try out new and fun colors. I wear make up just because I like to wear goofy colors. Get some fun shiny eye liners or shadows and experiment at home! If you like it, wear it out! But remember-- you are beautiful naturally too!
how about using some, but not a lot?, like blush, plucked eyebrows, lip gloss, and maybe a little mascara... o and u could also use foundation to cover imperfections, but very little!

How do i achieve a natural look with make-up?

the only make-up I ever wear is mascara, and sometimes i don't even do that. and every once in a while (only in the winter time) i use a little foundation because my face gets blochy.

but sometimes i'm going out somewhere really nice or have a wedding/bridal shower (etc.) to go to and really want to doll up... but i dont know how to, properly! not to mention, i want to still look natural.

any ideas?? i have olive-toned skin, brown hair and dark brown eyes. How do i achieve a natural look with make-up?
well what i do is just eye liner

    mascara

    and blush

    =)How do i achieve a natural look with make-up?
use light pink or white eye liner to look more wide awake and fresh.

    black mascara is always great

an eye shadow which is only a few shades darker than your skin tone

a lipgloss with a gentle peachy pink colour

maybe a tiny bit of blusher in the apples of your cheeks.

need more help IM me. im great with make up. xx
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!
just use foundation or loose powder.
Keep it simple. Mascara is always great! Since you have olive skin (I do too!) use brown and gold lipstick that are close to your natural color (think Jennifer Lopez, she is really good at choosing colors), with some clear gloss. A little peach colored blush would bring out your cheeks very well! Use a fluffy powder brush and start on the apple of your cheeks and then blend outward towards your temples.

Use a little bit of eyeshadow too! Use a shade very close to your skin color but with a hint of shimmer just below your eye brow. THen use a dark brown or deep plum (since you have brown eyes) close to your eyelashes.

    Good luck!

I have blue eyes; sandy blonde hair. I need a natural eye make up look please. I want to make my eyes POP. :]?

thanks.I have blue eyes; sandy blonde hair. I need a natural eye make up look please. I want to make my eyes POP. :]?
    try chocolate brown eyeliner,

    black mascara,

gold shimmer on the lid of your eye,

and on the crease chocolate brown. (it adds depth, and gives you that pop)

i do the same thing and i have blonde hair and blue eyes.

mine ';pop'; whenever i do this...

    try it.

i also like a metallic copper color...try ';mythology'; from MAC

Try this. If you want you can add a little gold. I have blue eyes and they almost pop out of my skull with gold eyeshadow.

  • How do I get my make up to look even and natural?

do you know how those people on tv do they're make up? I mean I know I can't look like them but I was just wondering if any one knew how I could do my makeup like that because i have a hard time putting base on (to cover my pimples) but still looking like I don't have a TON of makeup on....help?How do I get my make up to look even and natural?
The most important thing is knowing how to take care of your skin.

Wear sunscreen often (you don't want a bad tan or uneven skin tone).

Wash your face whenever its necessary. (if it helps your pimple, make it a regular routine).

Put moisturizer or lotion on your face to help make your makeup stay on.

Put on your primer or base on. Then put your foundation on. The trick is not to overdo with the foundation. A little bit helps because if you put too much, your skin will look like its flaking.

Blend properly. Blend in all direction and blend well. People sometimes neglect to do this and it makes their foundation look obvious.

Finally, put some concealer on your face if you see any imperfections. How do I get my make up to look even and natural?
go to sephora and have someone match you up with something that suits your needs, or pick a counter at a department store.

get a foundation primer (example: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

and make sure you get a foundation brush so that you get a flawless application.
The best foundation you can get that delivers impeccable flawless finish is called bee luscious cosmetics their liquid minerals are easy to apply and it really evens your skin tone.

They sell samples and you can try its totally awesome.

go easy on the powder/foundation and wear sunscreen

    Help with make up natural?

i have blue eyes and fair skin whats the best eyeshadow and lipstick that doesn't come off. at the mo i use mascara and lip gloss.Help with make up natural?
Always use concealer and loose powder over eyes before applying eye shadow. To help colors stay on longer and colors remain bright, apply eye primer after concealer, then powder.

85% of people are “warm” and should wear “warm” colors – ANYONE can wear warm colors. Anyone with brown or green eyes is automatically Warm. Although rare, “cool” people have very dark hair, very pale skin.

Yellow/warm shades make you look younger

Some people who are allergic to eye color are allergic to the red dye so stay away from purple shades. They will have redness and itching that goes away with discontinued use.

When selecting an eye shadow, the MOST IMPORTANT thing is the person’s eye color, then skin tone, then clothing..

To show eye color, choose a contrasting eye shadow. Pretend you are wearing white at all times. Hazel eyes are a mix of green and brown or green and blue . . . so follow the green eye chart.

Create your neutral eye look before layering accent colors to get better show - ability.

Eye Color = Blue, Liner = warm brown/taupe, Shadow = rich warm browns/ warm taupes

Eye Color = Green, Liner = red-brown/ taupe/ purples, Shadow = golden brown/warm taupes, deep purples

Eye Color = Brown, Liner = rich brown/charcoal, Shadow = golden brown/ blue/ green, light mahogany, taupe charcoal, purple

Eye Color = Grey, Liner = charcoal, deep brown, Shadow = charcoal, cool brown, purple

    LIPS....

    To determine the best shade:

    1. Size of lips – if have small lips = no dark colors!

    2. Skin Tone

    3. Clothing

Shine/light/warm shades = make lips larger

    Darker/matte = minimizes lips

Skin Tone = Fair, then use glossy, transparent pink, soft peachy

honey brown, beige brown, soft berry

Skin Tone = Medium, then use warm pink, soft mocha, caramel, delicate red, warm apricots, tangy peach

Skin Tone = Olive, then use strong red, deep rose, berry, toffee, mahogany, rich warm apricots, brown red

Skin Tone = Ebony, then use deep brownish red, deep berry, deep fuchsia, golden beige

Hope this helps!!!Help with make up natural?
Brown eyeshadow is the most natural and brown really makes blue eyes pop! For lips try a very natural pinkish peach!
any light brown color will bring your eyes out ,or a light metalic bronze color.

and for lips im not sure ??

    Mine already looks natural.

What is the best make up for a light sheer natural look.?

I don't wear make up and don't eve know how to choose the right color for my skin tone so i need something really easy to apply and not too expensive.

thxWhat is the best make up for a light sheer natural look.?
Bare minerals fondation, closest to your skin color, apply that first, then it really depends on your eye but get a brown and pink eyeshadow, black liner, and mini-brush mascara. Apply the eyeliner close to your lash line top only for the natural look, then apply the eyeshadow brown then pink and blend it together then put the mini-brush mascara on the top lashes only, one/two coats. top it off with a sheer pink or clear gloss. I don't think you'd need any blush but if you want to try it sweet on your apples of your cheeks and the bridge of your nose for a sun kissed natural look and make sure its close to the color when you've exersized!! Brands that are cheap and good, I swear by maybelline or revlon! I do makeup so you can trust me, any more help you can always email meWhat is the best make up for a light sheer natural look.?
Mary Kay cosmetics.. go online to http://www.marykay.com (they even have a virtual model page where you can get a model with your similar features and skin tone and pick colors that compliment you best). and look for a rep in your area she'll come over and give you a free makeover. this is the best way to go if you don't do make up very often. she'll pick colors that are right for your skin tone and explain to you how to use them. they might be a little on the pricey side, but you can pay in payments and they last for a loooong time, so in the long run it's cheaper to buy quality items.

    good luck!
Bare Minerals! I hate makeup but sometimes want to make my skin look more even. Being a powder, it is very light and sheer, yet covers everything and is ALL NATURAL. You can even sleep with it on. It's about $30 bucks but it's worth it and it lasts a while. I've been using it for 7 years.
    Youngblood, JLO uses it
If you are under 30 you don't need any makeup at all! Unless your skin is completely damaged by scars or acne... Natural look is your own skin!!!
if you want something really natural looking go for some really light browns. they kind of excentuate your features and maybe some light mascara. that will bring out your eyes, but not look like you've plastered your make up on. for lip stuff just do a gloss. it makes them shiny and just brings them out a little bit. you could do like a light blush right around the cheek bones so it gives you a healthy glow.

see, girls don't need a bunch of makeup to make themselves look beautiful. natural beauty is something rare, and when you do colors like what i just said, it will bring out that natural and inner beauty. :)
BARE MINERALS! its light sheer, and it doesn't look like your wearing makeup. it just looks like you're naturally beautiful and it makes you look years younger. and its so light that you can sleep in it if you don't feel like taking it off. it actually improves your skin. i know i sound like an infomercial but it really works!

the down side is, its kind of expensive, its $60 for a starter kit including brushes, 2 shades, (there are 4 shades to choose from and it comes with a darker and a lighter shade of each) it also comes with warmth, which gives your skin a sun-kissed glow, (not a bronzer) and mineral veil, which gives you a sheer finished look. (i still sound like an infomercial. lol) the kit also comes with a DVD that shows you how to apply bare minerals.

it sounds expensive, but its totally worth it!
I really did not like bare minerals, too many steps (moisturizer re-ver upper) the foundation (which you have to apply with a brush that leaves you with hair all over or in your counter) then the warmth and the veil... It does leave a nice texture and coverage but fot me it is not worth at all.

If you want to get the right color for your skin don't buy over the counter, I use Clarins True Radiance Foundation, it has a very good texture, and because they try different shades on you before you buy it you get the one that matches your skin.

If you have youger skin you migh want to try something from clinique in the form of pressed powder that wont leave a mask on you and is easy to apply.

And if you really dont want to spend more than 10 dlls get the dream matte mouse foundation from maybelline is a good one and will give you a sheer coverage. But you wont get to try ir before you buy it.
that soft flex stuff by revlon!! it works n its totaLLy affordable! n u can look at the shades when u go to yur local retailer store.. like maybe a wal mart? hy vee? target? walgreens? yull find it!
Ok...Im ussuming that your a pale color like me...well for instance i use a light blue for eye shadow...and a sandish color for your base....always use black eyeliner and mascara

What do you like: Natural eyes or eyes with make up?

I never apply any eye liner/pencil or eye shadow or other such make up. Should I?What do you like: Natural eyes or eyes with make up?
If you look good without any of these, why should you wear it? you look cute in your picture, so let it be. Also, makeup depends on the mood. Sometimes, you may feel that you want to look different and you may wear makeup, and if you do, that is fine too. What do you like: Natural eyes or eyes with make up?
Natural looks good to me. A lot of the women who put on eye makeup aren't very skilled at it and wind up looking like a raccoon or like that villainous girl in the ';Transporter 3'; movie. Not a great look.
i like a natural sleepy eyes..

they gives me a starnge feelings..

Only if you want. If you wear blush try going over you eyelids with the brush and it will give you a very natural flattering look. Not to mention that it is quick and simple. Some people look good with heavier eye makeup but that takes time, know how, and money. An eye pencil can be a big time breeding ground for germs.
i prefer eyes with mascara n eye liner thats it
natural, even If you make make up, use natural colors
Nobody HAS to wear makeup. With naturally dark eyes and lashes, you shouldn't need any at all. If you'd like, a dusting of a light color or a little shimmer on the lids could make your eyes seem a bit brighter. I usually wear a bit more it because l have light hair and eyes, and mascara and liner defines the eyes for more impact.
You could go with both. Natural eyes could be for going anywhere that's not too special and if you're in the mood to put some eye makeup on and/or are going somewhere like a party or something then the least you should put is mascara. Then you could put a light eyeshadow by the color of your choice (if you have dark brown eyes any eyeshadow will go). You could apply a little eyeliner if you wanted, but it's not necessary.
This is a question of what makes you comfortable. Why bother with makeup in the first place? This is uncomfortable -- it is expensive, and it is unnecessary for the most part. For me -- the question was (when I was a young woman): I looked around, saw other young females my age and asked myself: ';Do I want to look like a Clown?'; My answer was NO! So I've never worn makeup in the first place -- and now that I've past the half-century mark, I can definitely say that my skin is enjoying the fact that it was NOT damaged by all those harsh, unnatural chemicals in the first place.
it dont matter if u can work it both ways ..............then go head ...........do yo thang gurl!!!!!!!!!
Natural!! with makeup, only a litttle mascara or nice tones. NO EYELINER.
it depends on the occasion...when i am running around then i dont wear makeup but when i go out at night i usually wear it...

not everyone wears makeup and i prolly use it only 10% if the time...
I like natural eyes w/ makeup
    rock both
    Natural
I never wear anything other than Mascara, that's it, I may put a little bit of lip gloss on if I got out, but that's it, I wear nothing at all on my face, i prefer the natural look, but Mascara does open up the eyes and make them look big and beautiful. too much make up on the eyes can have the adverse effect and make them look small, so be careful.
as long as you're comfortable without makeup, there's no need wearing it.

self-confidence is attractive. thats why women usually wear eye-makeup; it makes them feel sexy and attractive. If you can feel sure of yourself without wearing makeup, thats wonderful and i see no need to apply any.
eyes with makeup. only if you can do it right.
You seem to be bright eyed and bushy tailed....Keep it real, and keep it simple!!!

    You are beautiful.....

    Huggs and Kisses,,,,

    Lonnie
with your eyes, perhaps i can recommend red hot pokers ?
    Natural
I like no make-up. I wear lipstick, but the rest of my face is ';fresh'; -- it feels better that way to me, and I think it looks better too.
With make up, it would make your eyes look bigger......:)
Make-up does make anyone look prettier

but if you do them right

If you can't just go natural
Make-up is for highlighting what you have. If you are a natural beauty- use some or nothing.
i think its depend on yourself maybyu are attractive with make up or with natural one so ....

I need help for natural looking make up for me!?

ok, iam not so good with the whole make up thing, so i was wondering if i could get some tips on what kinds to use and best spots to put the best shades. i have black hair olive tan skin, brown eyes and big lips. also anything that would make my nose look small would help too!!! lolI need help for natural looking make up for me!?
Get a good quality, non clumpy mascara, lip balm (nothing super glossy), a well-matched lip-pencil, a rosy pink blush (looks gorgeous on deeper olive skin)...

    Keep your eyebrows well groomed.

Curl your lashes and apply 2 coats of mascara to make your eyes look more open.

Line your lips carefully but not heavily and fill with the pencil, lightly. Apply the balm to blend and it wont look like youre wearing lipstick, just that you have nice even lips (or you can get a tinted balm). Apply a little powder foundation to even out the skin if needed, and then brush on your cheek color over the apples of the cheeks andalong e the cheek bones (subtly). Getting a neutral toned eyeshadow with just a hint of shimmer, or a subtle gold/copper looks nice too if you want to get a little more dressy while still looking natural.

If you aren't skilled with makeup application, skip heavy lipstick, and using eyeliner because it looks tacky when done poorly.

Keep it subtle and don't jump on ';trendy colors'; unless you know how to apply them or it looks tasteless. And... have fun!

    PS

Applying a mineral makeup to your whole face will make youlook FLAT and nooo good in pictures so be wary of applying it too heavily!!!I need help for natural looking make up for me!?
Loreal Bare Naturale Mineral Makeup works really well
If you have a good department store in your area, I would go there to the cosmetics counter and ask one of the makeup artists to give you some suggestions. They can put some on you, so you can see if you like it before you buy it. (I really like Bare Minerals makeup myself so if you have a Bare Escentuals store, that would be good too.) My skin tone is hard to match with cheaper foundation (I would always have a line around my chin and jaw so it was pretty obvious if it was the wrong color), so I had the Bare Escentuals people take a look and they did a custom match so it works perfectly. They could also give you some suggestions for blush color and eyeshadows and whatnot that would work with your skin and eye color, and if you ask I'm sure they wouldn't mind giving some pointers about how to apply it as well. Just keep in mind that those people are salespeople too so they will be hoping that you'll buy some of the makeup when you're done, and department store makeup can be a little expensive.
You should visit www.covergirl.com. Do a makeup consultation, it tells you all your shades for eyeshadow, eyeliner, and blush. Its awesome.
Hi, olive tan skin is lovely...you can skip foundation if you have good skin and just lightly dust some mineral veil (Bare Escentuals) brand to cover uneven color pigments if any or to lighten you face. You can use a little bronzer on cheeks to highlight them and create the illusion of high cheekbones, you can also pretty much play with many colours for eyeshow since you have olive skin...best shades would be any shade of gold, brown, bronze and black. Since you have full lips it's best not to use any ';loud'; colors...such as fushia red...try go for lipsticks that have ';muted'; undertones...avoid dark colors too. Best Colors to go for are neutral shades...if you're not sure...get one two shades darker or light than your natural shade.
use powder not foundation. Neutrogena has a great line.
i would recomend light eye shadow colours .. maybe a gold or baby pink or blue. It all depends on ur outfit . I wouldnt recomend browns or dark colurs. As for ur lips why not try a nude colour lipgloss or even a clear gloss. For olive skin i find a rosy blush looks amazing . It really makes a difference and makes you look more alive. Eye liner and mascara preferably black would also look good.

hope this helps ya !! :)

keep trying different shades till u like one the best. I have olive skin and this is wat i use.

  • How to keep make-up looking natural? Tips?

    1. Foundation that matches your skin (liquid because it looks dewey)

    2. Lip stain (it hypes up your natural lip color; wear it under chap stick)

    3. Mascara (Maybelline Define a Lash is amazing)

    4. Blush (I use this rose lipstick and blend it in rather than powder)

    5. Eye liner (liquid is great as long as it isn't thick)

Except for the foundation (I use moisturizer), that's what I wear everyday, and it doesn't look like I have makeup on. Try it. :)How to keep make-up looking natural? Tips?
-You need to have a foundation that matches your skintone.

    - Apply liquid foundation with a foundation brush and then smooth with a makeup sponge. For me, I use a liquid foundation and then I use a really light, light, light amount of powder foundation to set it all in. If I don't use the powder, I use a transluscent powder)

    - Get a concealer and hide blemishes, and also cover under the eyes, on eyelid (if you don't have eyeshadow primer) and on the sides on your nose.

    - Have a good bronzer and highlight cheeks, middle of nose, chin, and forehead lightly for a healthy glow.

Can practice ever make up for a lack of natural talent?

for instance if you wanted to be a dancer, and you practiced every day to be really great, can that make up for your lack of natural rhythm and balance? just how much of a head start does innate talent give you?Can practice ever make up for a lack of natural talent?
Yes for the most part. I think it's more important to remember that everyone has some things they are really good at and some things they are really bad at.Can practice ever make up for a lack of natural talent?
I am a musician- and I can tell you that some people have a natural gift for music that I work with, and others really had to work at it. Sometimes the ones that really had to work at it, are better today, because of it. Natural talent may help someone to begin to do something like music, dancing, writing, etc- however sometimes that talent will make them not strive for excellence, because they already feel that they are there. I know many people have made it farther in the music business because they worked hard and wanted to improve. I have a student that does not have that much natural talent, I don't believe, but I think he will go far, because he tries very hard.
If you have some capacity or ability for a thing, then diligent practice and effort will provide great results. If you have none, you will either waste your time or accomplish something astounding (even if in other people's eyes it does not amount to much). Ah, but a man's reach ought to exceed his grasp, else what's heaven for?

Innate talent gives you a great head start, but unless you cultivate it diligently, your accomplishment will be less than the talentless wannabe who nevertheless loves the thing with all his heart.

In God's eyes, it doesn't matter what you have to begin with. It matters what you do with it.

MeMe: I seriously doubt that there is one soul on earth who has nothing to offer. You just haven't realized your talent yet.
I would say that if the amount of practice is equal in amount and quality: then no. (opinion)

If however, the one with more natural talent doesn't work as hard at it, then the extra work could possibly make up for it.

It all depends on several factors:

    amount of work

    difference in natural talent

    quality of the training
I think talent is an excuse that people use to hold themselves or others down. Of course, one should ask themselves why they want to do what they're doing. There are all sorts of markets and arts that one could compete in. They are all entrenched in their ways and do not want to or cannot change, so, of course, it pays to be trained by an expert in what the judges and culture critics are looking for. Just be yourself and be happy. Don't worry too much about making a career out of anything you love doing. Most people try to be something they're not, so instead of getting great folk culture, we get American Idol and things of that nature. I'd rather listen to homeless street musicians.
As long as you're not planning to be on Broadway or whatever equivalent. Many people who aren't naturally gifted do a fine job with practice and determination. The ones who are picked out of the crowd for the spotlight have that natural zing, plus the determination and practice. A thought though, unless you practice, you don't know if you might have some real talent hidden away! Some people just hit a stage where it all clicks.
Hi and it depends, if it is a handicap then most likely you may not reach the top spot for dancing, but natural rhythm can be restored through hypnosis, our of rhythm is usually caused by some kind of mental blocks, but even without psychoanalysis with the right kind of practice you can get around some inadequate moves
I have often heard people argue this. People want to believe that they could do anything if they practiced enough. But alas - it isn't true. Mostly a real hot-shot violin player - or hot shot dancer - is born, not made.

These real hot shots still have to practice like crazy - but the difference is that when they practice they GET somewhere.

The rest of us can practice all we want and get nowhere.
I think you will become competent at whatever it is that you want to do but you will never reach the type of excellence that someone who has innate talent would attain through practice.
If you practice everyday, you can do whatever you want! Great works are performed not by talent or strength but by perseverance.
I don't have one natural talent. I am a totally untalented individual. Oh well....
    Yes it can because ';practice makes perfect';
    Yes, Muscle Memory does wonders.
Dancers? Wtf? I thought this question would be about sex.
    oh yes...

Mineral foundations. The best that I have tried is Everyday Minerals. Check out everydayminerals.com. The company produces the puriest mineral foundations. Depending on the coverage that you want to achieve, you can layer the application. You can receive samples for free from the company, however you just have to pay $5 for shipping. I am certain that you will love it-
Cover Girl. Many different shades and it does not feel like a mask after you put it on.
I like Mary Kay Dual Coverage powder foundation ($14) and loose powder(also $14). And no, I'm not just trying to sell you something like Kimmy said. I'm recommending it as a personal preference.

Pretty much any brand of mineral makeup.

Speaking from experience, don't trust anyone trying to sell you Mary Kay. Some of it works OK but is not worth the price.
I like Covergirl's ';Simply Powder';. They have several different shades, it's reasonably priced, and it gives your skin a nice foundation look without the heavy foundation.

the best is a mineral makeup, my favorite is Bare minerals, its sold at ulta and they can apply it for you. I love this makeup it doesn't look heavy you can cover up your imperfections and look natural which is great.
I love Clinique's pressed powder. I have used it since i was 13 and it is the only kind I will use. It's very light and doesn't make your skin oily or dry!

How to change my make-up look but still look natural?

i wear bare minerals for my foundation, bronzer, blush etc and i wear the CoverGirl mascara (the orange one) but im bored of the same make-up all the time what can i do to still make it subtle and natural but different if it can b acheived thanks v much xxxHow to change my make-up look but still look natural?
It sounds like you wear the staples of makeup--- foundation, blush and mascara. To make things more interesting (yet subtle) try a soft shimmery eyeshadow. I think MAC has the best ones, but I have a lot of Bareminerals eyeshadows which are all very very subtle (in fact, I apply Urban Decay Potion Primer to make my bareminerals eyeshadows more intense). Also, if you are using a natural brown mascara, try black. It will make your eyes stand out more! You could try switching up your blush color, but you have to be careful because you need to make sure your eyeshadow and blush do not clash. Meanwhile, do NOT change your foundation color, (as someone else mentioned) because your foundation must never change unless your own skin color changes. (ie, in the summer, you get more tan so you get a darker foundation or apply bronzer). Also, you could put some soft highlighter on the tops of your cheekbones. And finally try a new lip gloss/lip stick if nothing else. Sometimes a new lip color can make the biggest impact of all!How to change my make-up look but still look natural?
Try lighter shades of foundation with sheer pink ish blush. You can wear some lighter shades of eye shadows like blue/ green/ olive instead of the eye liner. In that way you will look fresh and still very natural.
Wear some nude lipstick (mac) cover any under eye circles (maybelline concealer) light mascara (maybelline great lash)
bare minerals has a darker brown kind of eyeshadow if you put on a little bit then it makes your eyes pop also put on like pinkish red blushon ur dimples to make your cheeks look rosy but not too much like ur blushing .

    hope this helps!!!
get some brown eyeliner and natural tone eye shadows like browns

  • Make up, natural, for school?

    Hi guys,

At our school we're not really allowed to wear make up so I need to keep it really natural. So what products would you recommend and what colours? I go for brands such as rimmel, avon and maybeline but any other brands are as good. Links, tips and advice much appreciated. Also, if you could do a morning routine I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you.

Natalie xMake up, natural, for school?
    Okay, heres the scoop:

clean makeup foundation by covergirl (its lightweight and natural)

great lash clear mascara by maybelline

A natural skin color(maybe matte?) for eyeshadow.!!!Make up, natural, for school?
tinted lip balm - I really like Lip Smackers Dr. Pepper, because it's not too bright and it really is a tasty lip balm. plus, it's like a buck at walmart.

concealer - whatever looks natural on your skin tone. I like solid concealers (rimmel is what I usually use, but neutrogena usually has some acne-fighting concealers if that's an issue for you) because liquids can melt off of your face, especially over zits. pick your natural skin color and BLEND IT WELL.

mascara - whatever your like best, but keep the color black/brown unless your hair color is naturally black. the softer color will make the mascara less obvious.

eye shadow - basic browns or pinks... anything more than a shade or two off of your natural eyelid color will be obvious.

foundations, liquid/powder - skip them. it's really apparent when you're wearing them, plus if you don't know how to make your make up look natural already you'll probably end up only looking fake and cakey. the single exception to this is if you can find a REALLY good tinted foundation, but those are usually pricey. think make up counter pricey.

blush - skip this as well. same reason as foundation.

the lsee make up you wear, the better your pores will be, and the less make up you'll need. the important thing is to find a really good cleanser and toner. it sounds like you're in jr. high or high school, so try neutrogena (pump soap or bar soap, whichever makes you happy) for cleanser, and something called ';sea breeze'; for toner. you can find both at walmart. if you have really sensitive skin, try baby wipes (like the kind you'd use to clean up a messy baby) to remove your make up, and witch hazel for a toner. taking care of your skin now will mean you'll have less scaring and therefore need less make up when you're older (and right now, too!)

    good luck!
On your face either lightly dust some powder over your skin, or use a light liquid foundation and rub it in REALLY well.

Rimmel have a few good powders, just use them sparingly so it's not too noticable. You could also buy a foundation and sheer it down by mixing with moisturiser to make it look more natural.

For your eyes just put on a tiny little bit of brown mascara. Just get a cheap one, and you can add a little water to that if you want for more of a natual look. You can also ge a coloured lip balm and they can't tell you off as you can say it's for your chapped lips. Or you could get a lip balm pot and just put gloss in it :)

    Good luck!
Why don't you do just that and keep it natural. You just don't need make up.
    Hey.

Try with a clean (bare) face, little mascara (Rimmel London) and light lip gloss.

Nothing more, that would settle for a good natural look at school. (:

Hope I helped!!! If you need to ask me anymore questions, want to talk or a more detailed answer then e-mail me at inlovewithmarcusw@yahoo.com. Have a good day.
just wear any l'oreal mascara (:

Hey =) im guessing u want to stick with drugstore brands right? Which are perfect for creating a natural look =) I would really suggest the Maybelline Mineral Power foundation, its like a light powder and u can apply as much as u want without looking cakey, a really light pink blusher with a bit of shimmer (also Maybelline mineral power) in a light pink, a neutral eyeshadow (maybe a cream or brown or even pastel colours) a bit of mascara (i find rimmel mascaras really good and affordable or maybelline) A white eyeliner (any brand will do as we dont want it to show up too much right? plus it really opens up ur eyes- or we could stick to black) Thats it really =) Hope i helped x x x
    dont wear makeup for school.
    wash your face then

    moisturize

    - foundation (dream matte mousse maybelliene )

    - blusher rose

    - powder

-vaselelliene / lip gloss / lip balm

Is there any good tutorials for natural looking make-up for teens? 10 points!?

for teens you need to remeber to keep things very light. No one likes a teen with a pound of makeup on. A little mascara and a light shade of your favorite eyeshadow color and a little concealer on those pimples or problem places. Lipgloss is good too. If you really want foundation then do mineral. Eyeliner is good too but make sure it's not an outragous color. Hope I helped. If you need more information then go on youtube and search natural makeup tutorial. Hope I helped! Is there any good tutorials for natural looking make-up for teens? 10 points!?
if you go on youtube and search '; everyday makeup'; or '; natural makeup'; youll see lots of videos.. usually u can see the little thumbnail pic next to the vid and see if it looks natural enough.. i saw one woman whose natural eyes looked like brown Arabic eyes wow wayy to harsh for everydayIs there any good tutorials for natural looking make-up for teens? 10 points!?
you can search Youtube or Google Videos for makeup tutorials or you could also look into your local drugstores or makeup brand stores (like MAC.) and get lessons. spas also offer tutorials, but they can be a little pricey. the last one I saw cost about $60.

Suggestions for natural looking eye make-up?

I'm looking for a way to do make-up that's a little more subtle and natural looking. not necesarilly not wearing that much make up. like a way to wear make-up but not look over done. suggestions?Suggestions for natural looking eye make-up?
I use tan or light brown eyeshadow, just a little bit of eyeliner, some mascara, a small amount of blush, and some lip glossSuggestions for natural looking eye make-up?
Maybe using eyeshadow just a little bit darker than your skin tone. Like a gold?
Try Revlon Beyond natural eye palette, they come in 4 different combinations. And Beyond natural mascara, in black brown, the best I've ever used. I personally love it.

They enhance you eyes and give you a little of natural colour and contour without that obvious made up eyes. Try it.
    Hey doll!

You sound like my kind of girl! You like makeup but want to enhance your natural beauty鈥攏ot cover up your face. Cool. I'm the same way and I'll give you a few tips I use to look subtle but polished.

    1. Always moisturize. Use a non-scented face serum with added SPF. This helps your makeup go on smoothly and evenly while giving your face the protection it needs.

    2. Use neutral and matte colors. If you are used to wearing black liner, try switching to a mocha or brown color liner. The same goes for mascara. This will still provide definition but won't be as harsh as black. And matte colors always look natural. Creme and peach shades provide color without the shine.

    3. Tinted lip-gloss. This way you can give your lips a touch of color while also adding moisture. It's not as heavy as lipstick and applies smoothly. I really like Burt's Beeswax lip shimmer. It comes in a variety of shades and comes equipped with SPF for extra protection.

    4. Light bronzer. I have found that blush looks great but can also appear unnatural at times. Try finding a semi-matte bronzer that is slightly darker than your skin tone and apply it to the apples of your cheeks, forehead, and nose.

Follow these few simple tips and you should look like a natural beauty in no time, without sacrificing your love for makeup! Send me an e-mail if you would like to share more tips and tricks. I like scoring makeup freebies on sites that offer free makeup samples. This way you can try out different products before you buy them. I hope this helps and good luck!

    Stay classy!

    chapstick.

    wahhlaaa!
tinted moisturizer, a little blush, curl your lashes and skip the mascara and a tiny bit of brown eyeliner and some gloss shud do the trick. hope i helped, good luck :D
Use light blushes that go with your skin tone (look up and find out if you're a spring, summer, fall, or winter type, it'sll really help), use brown eye shadow, and natural rosy lipstick shades. I don't recommend using eye liner, but if you do, try a brownish shade and rub it in slightly. Hope this helps!

%26amp; hope i get the best answer :PWhat can i do to make my make-up look more natural? (with pictures)?
you definetely wear way too much make-up for a fourteen year old. during puberty, your body and skin is obviously going through many changes and polluting your skin with chemicals from make-up will not help in the long-run. if anything, just wear a little eyeliner on your lids and some burt's bee chapstick. you dont need the stage makeup to look pretty
ur best bet is mineral makeup...go to everydayminerals.com and read on their product...i use it...it looks soooooo natural...no shine...i love this stuff...go read about the product its everything u want...better then bare mineral all natural...less harsh
wear less eyeliner or in a different color
try this make up brand called bare minerals, it makes your make up look light and natural. i think you could buy some online at their website. its a bit pricey.. maybe around 30-50?
try using an eyeliner more like brown or blue..

    benefit has GREAT stuff

also a little bronzer rub foundation in a lot or get natural looking ones like benefit or bareminimals

theres also these great blotting strips that remove oil but keep on makeup from clean and clear- they make a big difference
Less is more. Really. You have a fantastic natural beauty and the other girls who push make-up on you are jealous and want you to look like a clown so they look better compared to you.

If you must, the mineral make-up is the best. Bare Minerals is ok but very expensive---choke!!

Loreal has a mineral makeup that is $15 for the makeup and $15 for the blusher. I use it and it works well. About a quarter of what the bare minerals costs.

You dont need to load on the eye make up either. You have beautiful eyes. Keep it simple. Guys like a gal who doesnt have to keep on checking her face all the time. Life is too short to spend it being vain.

    EXTRA ADDITION:

    I just checked out that

    everydayminerals.com

that the lady above me suggested. Wow! That is the way to go! She was right about her suggestion and they are priced right too. You should give her the best answer choice. I am going to order that product line from now on. Thank you for your recomendation!
in order to make ur eyes look bigger outline only half of your lower lid starting from the outer end with a kohl pencil.wash your face frequently with a facewash meant for oily skin else blot your face with tissue paper to keep it shine free.since you want a natural look yet u hate lipgloss the best option would be to opt for a nude shade of lipstick and as for the bags underneath your eyes since you are only 14 u ought to sleep a little more
CHEAP AND PERFECT: TRUE BLEND WHIPPED FOUNDATION. I HAVE NATURAL BAGS... THAT HIDES IT ALOT WITHOUT LOOKING CAKEY OR POWDERY. IT LOOKS NATURAL.PLUS USE A BROWNISH EYELINER. NOT REALLY DARK. THERE IS THIS CHAPSTICK THAT LEAVES YOUR LIPS LOOKING ';HEALTHY, SEXY, AND KISSABLE'; NOTHING LIKE LIPGLOSS. YOU CAN FIND IT AT ANY DRUG STORE. I SPORT THE PERFECT NATURAL LOOK SO TRUST ME. I LOVE MAKE-UP.
FIRST OF ALL YOU IS TO YOUNG FOR ANY MAKEUP.GET MORE REST AND YOUR EYE WILL LOOK A LOT BETTER.AND I HAVE SHINY SKIN AND I LOVE IT AND I WEAR LIPGLOSS TO IT MAKE YOUR LIP PRETTY.AND FOR YOU BABY LOVE YOUSELF CAUSE YOU IS BEAUTIFUL.
if you dont mind, dont put foundation to your face, but must apply the make up base --%26gt; christian dior's make up base (pearl color)..that one makes you skin look natural even without foundation (if your skin no pimple at all).

and then try to use concealler for your eyes bags, use light eye shadow color. put some very light pink or light orange color to you cheeks. after these, put some loose powder ...then you look would be very natural and cute...remember dont put too pink or orange to your cheeks...
If your skin is already nice apply powder in your skin shade with a big fluffy brush to get rid of the shiny skin that you dislike - skip the foundation because you won't need it. If you do need foundation however, try using a mineral based foundation because it is not only easy to apply, it looks natural and is great for your skin.

Bags under your eyes could be caused by sleeping late - try a concealer if you need to. But if it is hereditary I wouldn't try to cover that up, I think bags are cute when the person smiles!

I suggest you lighten up your shade of blush and apply less, you want blush to make you look natural and glowy and healthy!

For your eyes: too much eyeliner! If you want your eyes to look bigger, only line the top part of your lids - line along your top lashlines and smudge for a more natural look. You can choose to leave it like that or if you want to, add a natural beigey golden eyeshadow. I dont like just plain brown. Look around and experiment with some natural nude shades for your eyes. Curl your eyelashes (makes your eyes look bigger and more open) apply mascara if you wish, but i think mascara is heavy sometimes. I like maybelline's full and soft - looks very natural and pretty. Now, on your lower rims of your eyes apply a white eyeliner. What this does is that it helps further open up your eyes - making your eyes look huge! Lastly, i like to apply the white eyeliner in the inner corners of my eyes to complete the big eyed look.

I hate lipgloss too. Why dont you try some tinted lip balm for color or if you dont like color - go for a great chapstick or lipbalm; good ones will make your lips nice and soft.

I recommend drugstore brands because if you look carefully they are pretty much the same as department stores without the cost! And plus you're 14! You dont need to spend alot on makeup.

    Good luck and have fun!

  • Good make up, natural coverage??? Help!?

I wear Covergirl powder foundation...and I love it for in the summer, because I'm tan and usually want to control the shine. But as I'm losing my tan, I feel like my flaws are more noticeable and I want a little bit more coverage.

I've never liked liquid foundation, it feels too thick on my face. Are there any good powders out there that control shine and provide really good coverage? I want something that gives the flawless look, but looks natural at the same time-- and without spending a ton of money.

Has anyone tried bare minerals?? Any suggestions would be great!!Good make up, natural coverage??? Help!?
Physicans Formula powder is the best! It's exactly like bare minerals except way cheaper and actually lighter feeling and covers well. I use it everday and it doesn't clog pores whatsoever. Not many people have heard of PF but it's in every general store that sells makeup.

I recommend not using the tiny brush that comes with the compact, buy or use a bigger, round edged brush, the makeup will cover more and look more natural. Good Luck!Good make up, natural coverage??? Help!?
I believe you'll find what you're looking for at aularale.com/7002 - beginning with a good skin care regimen to clear up whatever issues you have w/your skin. This along with drinking lots of water and eating a good diet will get rid of the flaws you say you have.

Moving on to the make up - you'll find it skin matching, water based, fragrance free and providing a very natural look and feel on your skin.
Yes the bare minerals is awesome! I recommed buying the kit to start off cause you get everything even the brushes! It's a great deal!! Just make sure you watch the DVD because if you dont know how to apply you wont like it.... my BF did'nt like it at first but she tried again and she likes it!!! It will take awhile to get used to it but it works good!! Oh yeah a little messy!!
Bare Minerals broke me out badly because of the bismuth, its really bad for your skin. Any way the mineral pressed powder by BEE LUSCIOUS gives a very nice finish and SPF 8 Give them a whirl.
i know u said u dont want a liquid. I didnt like liquid foundations either. but i use MAC Hyper real foundation now. its a liquid, it gives sheer coverage with a pearl like finish. set it with loose powder. it feels light on your face. I live in New Orleans, La and its hot here, i like the benefit of light makeup.

Guys, do you like it when your girl wears make up or just stay natural?

Guys i just want to know if girls are waisting their time looking pretty just for you, or do you like the fact that the girl is trying to grab your attention by spending 10 minutes to get ready for her date?Guys, do you like it when your girl wears make up or just stay natural?
    both

cause some chicks look really weird when they just pile on the make up

have make up but keep it so you look natural

i mean like who wants to look like a clownGuys, do you like it when your girl wears make up or just stay natural?
I like it when she gets all made up just for me, its a clear signal that she genuinely cares.
    Make up.
i seriously can't tell half the time... natural beauty is for sure the most attractive but i guess make-up makes you look like a movie star. oh and those huge sun glasses that girls wear are stupid, don't cover up your pretty face, wink
I agree with the guy above me [even if I'm not a guy].

I think makeup should be used lightly to accent the beauty that's already there.

Then it's natural, but just enhanced a little bit.

Girls say that they wear makeup to impress the guys, but I think it's also to impress themselves. We hold much higher standards for ourselves than they do for us.
i like it when a female wears a little bit of makeup but it can be overdone easily. so my answer would be in moderation.
    Natural!
Early on women take more time to get ready and ';doll'; themselves up. Once you are in a relationship, they stop doing it. They don't wear make up, they don't wear cute clothes. They do just lounge around. I hate it when women become complacent and settled into a relationship -- that's usually when I start looking for the door.
I'm not a guy, but I go more for the natural look, and idc what the guys say.
We may not say so, but we do notice. I always tell my wife that she looks great without makeup (she does) %26amp; I tell her that the makeup just help to define %26amp; accent her beauty.
    Natural is nice.

A little bit of makeup is also nice...accentuates the beauty.
I appreciate it when they take the time to put on make up. It shows me that they are interested. That is until we shack up and they just lay around on the couch watching Springer and eating Twinkies.

Natural beauty or make-up on girls, which do you like guys?

all i want to know is natural beauty or make-up on. i dont want to know about if they apply it right or stuff, just one or the otherNatural beauty or make-up on girls, which do you like guys?
i would definately say natural beauty. me personally i only wear eyeliner and mascara, no one can ever even tell that im really wearing make-up.Natural beauty or make-up on girls, which do you like guys?
I would say guys like the people with make-up on. I don't understand that though because girls put make-up on to get different. And you guys are falling in love with the girls wearing the make-up, rather than what they look like behind all the make-up!
All natural make up is used to cover up something, i think when i c a girl with a heap on make up smeared across her face i laugh and think she looks like an idiot just look natural you dnt c guys wearing make up if we got a pimple we deal with it we dont cover it up with mascara or whatever you call it
Natural beauty every the step of the way make up only covers flaws and if you wake up 1 morning to a completly different person youd be angry as natural as possible it looks better anyway
I'm a girl but if you apply the right make up and not make it too heavy or bright, it can look natural and bring out natural beauty and look better without looking ';all done up';.
i would go with natural beauty

because the make up would just mainly be covering a girls beauty

like my girlfriend doesnt put on any make up and she looks great to me
personally I think girls who need to cake on the make up aren't generally worth a dime. less make up = more in most guys views.
    natural beauty of of course!
    natural, think man, think

NATURAL BEAUTY OF COURSE!!!!! are u kidding me? anyone can put on makeup and look nice no matter how bad they might actually look.
    natural
i think natural beauty, but a little make up never hurts
Even if she doesn't have natural beauty, I don't like that much makeup. A little bit is alright, though.
My ex wore extremely little make up at all. She was naturally stunning. She did put moisturizing lotion all over her body, but I don;t think that counts here. That is what I prefer
    I like em plastic.
i'm a natural guy, or little make up, none of that cake it on crap

Is there a natural remedy I can use or make up at home to prevent puppy chewing furniture?

When you catch the puppy chewing, give a sharp AH AH and redirect him, when he moves away from the furniture tell him good boy, and give him a cold carrot from the fridge. With our lab puppy, when he did this we sprayed him with vinegar mixed with a small amount of water. This is NOT harmful, and can produce NO dangers to your puppy. As a woman I prefer a little makeup to enhance my natural beauty. Too much makeup covers and distorts your God given beauty. Overly done makeup is not attractive according to my husband and my reflection in the mirror.Do you perfer make-up or natural beauty?
NATURAL,you dont go to bed with one and wake up with the

    different one!
I'm sorry, but I think most women look better with a little makeup......
    natural...eyeliner/lipgloss at the most.
Natural beauty is ALWAYS in style and pretty. However, if someone is self-conscious about their appearance or think they look better with makeup, then it's great they have makeup as an option. Me, I tend to go natural with mascara, concealer every once in awhile, and colored lip balm.
Makeup, I hate the way I look without it... I have terrible skin....
Use Bare Minerals! It's a great brand and looks very natural while providing adequate coverage. Plus, you can sleep in it!
Me, I'm natural. I wear like eyeliner and mascara with lip gloss. Those powder stuff make me feel like i'm being fake.
I perfer natural in the kitchen and makeup in the bedroom. LOL
cheerleders and some other ppl wear make up. but i go natural. u should 2. if you have good looking eyes and a smooth face of course.

    not to be mean
Natural for sure. I see alot of girls that really cake on the make-up. My sister is one of them. I also think that it makes them look alot older than they are (not in a good way)
I prefer girls to look natural, but if you have to use war paint

stick with the lippy and eye shadow, and not the foundation look that looks as if it could be peeled of
natural, make-up is nice but it's false advertising
i don't like the way people look in make up but it dose not hurt to where make up sometimes
I think girls look much better when they are natural. I agree some need makeup but the more natural you look the more appealling you really are. I honestly think i look better with out make up i wear some but just mascara and some cover up if i have a pimple or something.
natural is the best the only thing you can buy
i like a mascara and lipgloss. that's it
Most girls look better with makeup. If they think that they look better natural, they are not honest to themselves and this post.
    natural beauty is the best
i would say natural because girls that need it later on are not going to need it so i would say natural

    natural would be the best!
NATURAL! you don't want to look like your trying to hard or being fake. just use mascara and eyeliner and a subtle blush, this will enhance your look, not destroy it!
take this from a girl that needs makeup, u just need to find a look that u feel comfortable with, and if it involes a little makeup, no big deal. its easy for beauties to say naturals better, and its true it does look great, but do what makes u feel comfortable.
    Definetly natural.

Guys, which do you think is prettier, Natural or Make-Up?

let the ladies know what you thik about all that make-up...Guys, which do you think is prettier, Natural or Make-Up?
Natural by far. But, with an explanation. Natural beauty does come within. If a woman or girl is strong inside, true to herself, full of confidence, has strong self esteem and self respect, and all those types of good inner qualities, her natural beauty will glow and shine and it just does not get better than that! The very best thing to put an a face is a smile that comes from withinGuys, which do you think is prettier, Natural or Make-Up?
    Natural most always.
Natural is always the best. Makeup is fake.
for punk people who wear alot of make up, make up, but for a beautiful person, natural =]
    Natural
nothings worse than an ugly girl with a ton of make up on
I'm not a guy, but i already know the answer to this question. Boys don't care if girls wear makeup. Just like in the movie clueless, guys like college girls cuz they wear less makeup on their faces, while high school girls plaster it on.
i say, whatever makes you feel best. if u feel fake and,well,made-up in makeup,go natural.if u feel ugly and naked wothout it dab some on!

even tho i'm not a dude and im not gay, i wanted to answer this one
natural is good but little make up is good too, definitely not too much make up though
some guys like it, but the ones i talk to like a natural beauty whose attractive because she has nothing to hide.
I can tell you for a fact that most men prefer the natural look, but the natural look can be achieved with make-up as well. Whenever you ask a guy whether he prefers makeup or no makeup, he automatically gets a bad image of obvious makeup that looks trashy, usually because younger girls tend to over-do it. As you become more experienced in applying makeup, you'll learn how to apply it so that a guy can't tell that you're wearing makeup------that's when wearing makeup looks better than no makeup, when it ';invisibly'; enhances your best assets while also hiding your flaws.
I'm not a guy but every significant other I've ever had tells me they think I'm sexier when I'm au natural. :) I, of course, think I look better w makeup.
I am an all natural beauty! I ran fer 'possum queen once and won the contest. I think it wuz 'cause I wuz the only contestant!
    natural of course...be as you are...don't wear a ';mask';
A very little amount of makeup
Natural has its own sense of beauty

when it is natural it feels and looks like you are happy with what you have. when you put makeup on you look like you think you are not as pretty as you can be and that is totally wrong cause you are beautiful without make up you have a feeling like you are not hiding anything
The best is when YOU have make up on But its really natural, basically just cover up uneven tones and keep it simple,

The less notable the make up looks the better

I just asked my husband and he said natural. A little bit to enhance, but not overdone.
well what i do is just put eyeliner and lip gloss that is all i do. Putting bunches of make up makes you older looking. U don't want that it makes your skin wrinkles fast so just put eyeliner, eyshadow and lip gloss. It is nice to show the guys what you really look like under the makeup. Use eskinol if you have stuff on your face,it takes away achne and oh of course makes your skin prettier and clean. At least that what happens to me when I use them..
Make up is better when used to enhance and isn't caked one...go to the web site...
    Natural all the way.
    natural
