How do you make your make up natural?

how can my make up look really natural and not dark and black. what products do i use?How do you make your make up natural?
mineral makeup.... bare esscentuals.... get the starter kit and follow the directions, it looks sooo natural!

omg! why is everyone boo-ing my idea??? i used to spend so much money at MAC, and that stuff is soooo bad for your skin!!! mineral makeup is really easy, and you can crash without washing your face if necessary. I still use MAC for anything with color pigment.... but for a really natural flawless skin look, minerals are great. How do you make your make up natural?
natural make up is always pretty.

use a little foundation, liquid, not powder, because you don't want to look cloggy

for your lips, a clear gloss. and for eyes; it depends how natural you want to go... you could always use a taupe/tan coloured eyeshadow, but it depends on your eye colour really. you could use a little liner but that might be taking it out of the 'natural' class
i, personally love lipcolor to look 'nude' or very light so i wipe some concealer on my finger tip, rub it on my lips, then lightly gloss it with sheer or pink lipgloss....its fast, easy %26amp; looks completely natural !!
Don't put on too much. Make sure that when you are putting on dark eyeshadows that you are very very up close to a mirror so that you can see what others would see, don't stand back and decide that way. Also if you want your make up to look natural obviously don't use actual colors (blue, green, purple, etc.) for eyeshadow. Also blend in with a q-tip.

When using lipstick/gloss make sure that it goes with your tones... Like even if you have fair skin, if you have darker hair then it's okay to use darker lip colors but if you have light hair and light skin don't use dark colors for lips if you want it to look natural...

Hope this helps!
get the make-up same colour as your skin, use natural colour lipstick (if u use it) and eyeshadow.

apply less or apply more. it just has to be light %26amp; natural looking.
No bright colors, use tones that are relatively neutral to your skin tone. Try physicians formula products, or Sheer Cover, which is wonderful!
Use normal products, but don't go over the edge with them. Use browns, they allways look very natural. Just put just enough to highlight your best features-- that's all makeup is supossed to do, not create a mask over your face.
using light, neutral shades
try using nude colors of eyeshadows..

even nude lip gloss it helps bring out your eyes.

try with maybelinne , they're good with creating nude colors.
use a very natural base with a loose powder and maybe a white face brightening powder and brown mascara or real light black not caked on and light shades of eyeshadow with a pale blush just enough to look natural
DON'T PILE IT ON!!!!
You need to find products that, sort of match with your skin tone, products that aren't THAT noticeable, their the products that are considered natural. For example if you have really pale skin and you wore bright red lipstick that would definetely not be natural so basically prodcust that are close to your skin colour. Hope this helps.
