Make up, natural, for school?

Hi guys,

At our school we're not really allowed to wear make up so I need to keep it really natural. So what products would you recommend and what colours? I go for brands such as rimmel, avon and maybeline but any other brands are as good. Links, tips and advice much appreciated. Also, if you could do a morning routine I would really appreciate it.

Thank you.

Okay, heres the scoop:

clean makeup foundation by covergirl (its lightweight and natural)

great lash clear mascara by maybelline

A natural skin color(maybe matte?) for eyeshadow.!!!Make up, natural, for school?
tinted lip balm - I really like Lip Smackers Dr. Pepper, because it's not too bright and it really is a tasty lip balm. plus, it's like a buck at walmart.

concealer - whatever looks natural on your skin tone. I like solid concealers (rimmel is what I usually use, but neutrogena usually has some acne-fighting concealers if that's an issue for you) because liquids can melt off of your face, especially over zits. pick your natural skin color and BLEND IT WELL.

mascara - whatever your like best, but keep the color black/brown unless your hair color is naturally black. the softer color will make the mascara less obvious.

eye shadow - basic browns or pinks... anything more than a shade or two off of your natural eyelid color will be obvious.

foundations, liquid/powder - skip them. it's really apparent when you're wearing them, plus if you don't know how to make your make up look natural already you'll probably end up only looking fake and cakey. the single exception to this is if you can find a REALLY good tinted foundation, but those are usually pricey. think make up counter pricey.

blush - skip this as well. same reason as foundation.

the lsee make up you wear, the better your pores will be, and the less make up you'll need. the important thing is to find a really good cleanser and toner. it sounds like you're in jr. high or high school, so try neutrogena (pump soap or bar soap, whichever makes you happy) for cleanser, and something called ';sea breeze'; for toner. you can find both at walmart. if you have really sensitive skin, try baby wipes (like the kind you'd use to clean up a messy baby) to remove your make up, and witch hazel for a toner. taking care of your skin now will mean you'll have less scaring and therefore need less make up when you're older (and right now, too!)

good luck!
On your face either lightly dust some powder over your skin, or use a light liquid foundation and rub it in REALLY well.

Rimmel have a few good powders, just use them sparingly so it's not too noticable. You could also buy a foundation and sheer it down by mixing with moisturiser to make it look more natural.

For your eyes just put on a tiny little bit of brown mascara. Just get a cheap one, and you can add a little water to that if you want for more of a natual look. You can also ge a coloured lip balm and they can't tell you off as you can say it's for your chapped lips. Or you could get a lip balm pot and just put gloss in it :)

Good luck!
Why don't you do just that and keep it natural. You just don't need make up.
Hey.

Try with a clean (bare) face, little mascara (Rimmel London) and light lip gloss.

Nothing more, that would settle for a good natural look at school. (:

Hey =) im guessing u want to stick with drugstore brands right? Which are perfect for creating a natural look =) I would really suggest the Maybelline Mineral Power foundation, its like a light powder and u can apply as much as u want without looking cakey, a really light pink blusher with a bit of shimmer (also Maybelline mineral power) in a light pink, a neutral eyeshadow (maybe a cream or brown or even pastel colours) a bit of mascara (i find rimmel mascaras really good and affordable or maybelline) A white eyeliner (any brand will do as we dont want it to show up too much right? plus it really opens up ur eyes- or we could stick to black) Thats it really =) Hope i helped x x x
