Mac because you can make Mac makeup natural, they do have natural colors and they last all day.
If you're in the UK try Perscriptives (in larger boots, and most of the big dept stores).

It looks very natural as they match it exactly to your skin colour/tone. It gives really good coverage and really evens out any blotches. Both myself and my mum have used it for about 10 years and wouldn't use anything else.

It costs about 拢20 a pot which lasts for AGES. Really easy to apply too (i just use fingers).

Have fun!

I think she means bare minimum. Just a guess? If you haven't needed it up till now, I bet you don't need it now. However, if it will boost your confidence, do just that and use as little as possible.
Dont dab or rub the foundation. A mousse foundation is really good, you can slide it over without causing caking and flaking.
bare minerals
physicians formula powder foundation applied with a brush,it last all day(I wear it for 15 hours and now rubbing off or smudges)
Mineral foundation is good. It is light.

puritycosmetics.co.uk is a good brand.
A light tinted moisturiser is what Id recommend regardless of age, it moisturies and enhances skin colour without looking like it is caked on. As you get older it is best to draw main focus to lips instead of eyes, as eyes age faster, stick to a bit of eyeliner and a coat of mascara for eyes. Invest in a nice quality lipstick that will draw positive attention to your lips and help enhance your natural features. Best bet is to go to a person at a makeup counter, i.e clinique and get them to help you find a lipstick that really suits you!
If you can get away without wearing make up, up to your age then I guess you've probably got good skin so.... In this case I would suggest firstly. A good but gentle exfoliating wash to be used once a week, this will keep your skin clean fresh and prepped for A GREAT MOISTURISER - (No 1 important thing in any females armoury.) To be used on a daily basis in the morning pre make up and evening after you wash your face. I would recommend Clinique as they are great value for money and come in a huge variety of types so you can choose exactly for you skin type %26amp; colour - I would also recommend Clinique or Estee Lauder Foundation and concealer - After you have used your moisturiser dab a tiny amount of concealer under your eyes and anywhere else you feel need a lift. you can use your fingers, and work your way to the coverage that you think is needed. Now you can apply your foundation - I prefer to do this with my fingers but you can also do it with a sponge, start of with a little - Build it up o the coverage nessecary et voila you have the most important thing in make up a good base! As far as keeping it looking fresh and youthful use some blush. I personally favour rose as it can be used quite subltely and looks very natural on most skin tones. On the apples of your cheek - use a large brush, remember to blow of the excess and use your strokes in sweeping motions upwatrds - again buid up to the coverage you want. Then add a Good coat of masscara - (If you want to keep it natural then maybe use brown instead of black), and some lipgloss and there you have it - simple but fresh youthful and most imporantly effective day make up - If you want to add a bit more colour then go for a coloured lipstick and add a little eyeshadow in gold or brown - No 7 do some really good eyeshadows that are barely there but just give you a bit of a lift.
Mineral Make Up -

its make up without all the gunk - just minerals,

it takes a while to apply at first but gives a very natural feel and finish.

Try Lili Lolo, they allow you to purchase trial sizes so you can try them out.

Its very good, if you don't like it you can just throw them away.

I like Chanel Tient Naturel liquid makeup with SPF 8.
Use a tinted moisturiser instead of full foundation. Lighter on the skin.
