Why do girls wear so much make up when most guys prefer natural lookin girls?

Who do they wear it for because it definitely can't be for the guys. I've never met a guy who liked a girl that wore a lot of makeup unless it was for getting some easy pussy.Why do girls wear so much make up when most guys prefer natural lookin girls?
Well I only wear eye liner, but i know someone who does wear alot and she said it's because she dosn't think she's pretty without(but she is), but I think it's because she's not positive about herself.Why do girls wear so much make up when most guys prefer natural lookin girls?
I can only speak for myself. In my case , I enjoy silly wild make up colors. But I also fee very self contious. I was verbally abused in a past relationship and he told me hecouldn't look at me unless I went and did my make up. He just convinced me I wasn't good enough without it. Alot of us girls feel ugly without it , because its what we are made to believe. The same way we are made to believe if we arn't super skinny , we will never get a ';good'; man and will be alone the rest of our lives.
Wearing make up helps give us confidence. Some days we just feel like we look like crap so we put a lot on.


Some girls put a lot on for style.


Some do it becuase they think guys won't like them if they don't.


Some do it because it helps there look, seem crisp.


Some do it to empathize a certain facial feature.


All depends.
Some girls are insecure about the small flaws on their face or where ever. They want to look good for who they care about. Even though you can tell they put on too much, they are insecure about little flaws on their face and think of outer appearance. Don't judge a girl by her makeup. I'm sure there's a girl doing that, but has a good heart.
Some guys like a lot of make up. But If you noticed its usually girls like 18 and younger who just try to look older and more mature. Its sort of annoying. Its the same group of girls that have their mom drop them off at the mall everyday just to stand around and try to get noticed. Im really starting to worry about the children of our future.. they are starting to piss me off. PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON LITTLE GIRLS!!!!
many girls are self conscious. as a result, we look up to the media which tends to show us how the idea woman is supposed to look like. the ideal woman on the media wears lots of makeup and b/c these women are often desired, normal girls want to look like them or ';pretty'; which is why we use makeup....makeup covers things.....other girls use makeup b/c they like to be artsy....for example, we like to match our eye shadow with our scarf or shirt color

yes we know that the natural look is in but when u cant look urself in the mirror without cringing then its a problem.. makeup wasn't only made to beautify women..it was also made to cover those things we just want to hide
to be honest i think girls that do wear a lot of make up is because they are unsatisfied with what they look like without makeup. even tho a lot of girls out there that wear a lot of make up look great even without it, they just think that they will be noticed more with it on.
most girls use make-up to make themselves feel beautiful, some load on the make up not for the guys, but to try to measure up to their girl friends that they think are better looking, every girl is beatiful in their own way, the only thing that matters is how you feel about yourself
I hate it! It makes women like like whores when they use too much of it. A little bit is okay, although I don't need a woman to use any. If she's pretty she's pretty. Makeup doesn't change that! It's incredible all the money that the makeup and perfume companies make. if it was up to me and my wife, they would all be out of business!
because wearing it makes us feel prettier and we really dont even care if you like it or not. unless you make fum of us for wearing it, then you will probably never be forgiven. and plus think to all the beautiful celebrities that have hot bfs! we immitate their makeup because they are pretty
becuse it helps thier confidence and they tend to stand out a little more than girls who dont, because they are more easy to see. lol. but i dont wear makeup and people say im wayy pretty without it. and yet guys dont notice me as much. it ok tho!
Because we know what you actually like. If no girl wore any makeup, you would scream. Only the super confident, super pretty girls go without makeup and get noticed.
sigh good question LOL ive noticed too that chicks are wearing more make up than ever NOW..dunno why i wear make up but not so much to where i can peel it oFF LMAO!

i dont wear makeup. its all natural 4 me! lol but idk sometimes i do. when like going to a party or somewhere special. just simple makeup. but idk. makes us feel preety? lol idk but ya.

basically they see a celebrity and want to be just alike.


Its all a gimmick to buy their makeup products.

Because we think it makes us look prettier, therefore more confident, and you can't say that guys like girls who aren't confident...
well i don't wear a lot but its usually b/c the girl thinks she's ugly and or wants to cover up acne....which sucks. guys heads up: make sure girls don't think their ugly, treat them like a should be treated. thanks (:
i dont feel pretty without it. thats probably the main reason. some girls are actually pretty without it, but even they look even better with a little mascara or something
Some girls just don't like how they look naturally. They think makeup improves how they look.

but they go for me more than they do for the girls without makeup
they do it to make themselves look good for them and it boosts up their confidence. for girls its the ideal look of being hot.
Girls don't always have guys in mind when doing their makeup. Most do what they like.. which doesn't always correspond to mens feelings..
Because girls don't think that they are pretty enough, and the make up helps them feel better about themselves.
